Description

45 THE MUSTANGS OF AUSTIN, TEXAS "TENDER LOVING CARE / HOW DO YOU QUIT" (STANGS 100), ultra rare USA 1965 (?) ORIGINAL issue NORTHERN SOUL 45. BRILLIANT TRACK, and only other copy I have found sold once (in much lesser condition) on eBay for $300 (source: popsike) Condition is excellent++ with small writing on a-side.

(A 45 from my own private collection!)
Here a quote from the US seller who made $300 on thid some back in 2008: "The first Soul 45 ever to come out of Austin, TX!!! This stormer of a 45 was custom pressed in a small lot of only a few hundred as The Mustangs prize for winning The Battle of the Bands in 1966. Very very rare, even here in Austin!"

Gradings & Abbreviations:

M Mint  - a perfect, probably unplayed record Ex  Excellent -  close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to EX. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector. VG Very Good - a used, well played copy. There will be obvious signs of wear, surface marks &  surface noise during quiet passages, but still quite nice and should play ok and all the way through.
  • Any minus or plus additions to the above gradings will indicate a grade just below or above.
