Description

ULTRA RARE GARAGE ACID ROCK BAND OF THE EARLY 1970s!  The only reference I can find for this group, Billy Joy and The Verdicts, was in the Wikipedia entry for Tonie Joy - "Anthony R. "Tonie" Joy is an American musician based in Baltimore, Maryland. Joy is known for his work in various underground rock and post-hardcore bands. He ran the independent record label Vermin Scum from 1989 until 2001. He emerged in the late 1980s and has been a key figure in several notable bands."  Later in the Wikipedia entry, it states, "Having been inspired by his father Bill's early '70s acid rock band Grok and previous group The Verdicts, Joy began playing music as a teenager."
HERE IS HIS FATHER'S 45 RPM on the Baltimore "Hope Records" label.  Hope 45-559, Side B is, When You Cry.  The record was found in a plain white sleeve, LOOKS GREAT with a faint scuff mark or two over pristine vinyl, will grade NM.
