Description
Not to be confused with the Northern Soul singer who was best known for The Fruit Song, this Jeannie Reynolds appears to have been an entertainer in the Catskills. This is her single with the songs, "Isreal" Is Her Name, and Little Boy of Mine. NOTE THAT "ISREAL" IS MISSPELLED ON THE 45! One can see other copies of this 45 online, also with this misspelling, and spelled correctly.
This 45 was released with a plain sleeve but also two different photo sleeves. This is one of them. The sleeve is in fne condition, some yellowing with age, edge wear, no splits or marks. The record is in excellent condition, with no scratches seen, will grade NM. According to one site, Jeannie Reynolds' Israel Is Her Name melodramatizes the Israeli pioneer experience.
