This listing is for a Johnny Richards 45 RPM, and AS A BONUS, ANOTHER JOHNNY RICHARDS SONG ON A 15 ips/NAB MONO MASTER REEL-TO-REEL
The 45 RPM is VIM X100, produced in the early 1950s; no date provided in discogs for this 45 but others provide times in the late 1940s, early 1950s. This 45 RPM was purchased from the estate of Maurice Shapiro, a composer and songwriter who wrote both songs on this 45 RPM. The performer is Johnny Richards. His real name is, Juan Ricardo Cascales, and he was an American jazz composer, orchestra leader and arranger, born 2 November 1911 in Querétaro, Mexico; died 7 October 1968 in New York, USA. (from discogs). NICE NEAR MINT ORIGINAL VIM SLEEVE. The flip side of the 45 is, Ne Parlez Plus (Say No More). Vinyl LOOKS GREAT with no scratches on a pristine surface, will grade NM.
The VIM Records MONO MASTER was found in a Scotch 3M box with a VIM label affixed - see listing photo. The song is, Lady in My Heart. The reel-to-reel looks unplayed as the lead is taped to the plastic reel (see listing photo)
