Description



This is an original American 45 RPM Single Record by SILKY HARGRAVES from 1965. The two selections are "Hurt By Love" and "Go On Girl". Label / Number is D-Town 1043. Two excellent sides by vocalist Hargraves on this small Detroit, Michigan label. Silky was better known as a sax player, but cut a few sides as a singer. This was his first. Both sides are mid-tempo R&B and have a "Drifters" feel. Record has a few very light scuffs, some discoloring and is pressed very slightly off-center, but plays well with good fidelity. Labels have light wear. Condition is: Record - VG+(+) Labels - VG++ A nice item.
