Isidro Infante was born in Puerta de Tierra, San Juan, on August 12, 1952.

In his 15 years of age formed his band "Carpe Diem" (Vive La Vida), a group of Rock / Salsa that interpreted Rock'n'Roll, Pop, Salsa and included to Tommy Villarini in the trumpet, Cuto Soto in the trombone And guitarist Manolo Sastre. With this band Isidro wrote his first arrangement "Tiempo De Ti".
