Description
I want to avoid any misunderstanding about grading, so I'm not providing any grading information because I can find no reliable online benchmark recordings with which to compare my own vinyl
The records I’m selling are mainly Blues and Soul which I’ve enjoyed playing and which were loud, even distorted, when first issued. Noise that would be distracting on a Classical or Modern Jazz LP does not have the same impact on these kinds of 45s
So I’ve played all my records and described what I hear. They will all have at least a small amount of surface crackling, the question is – how much, and does it overpower the music, or is there more noise there than I would like?

I am sending it in a brand new 90gsm white generic sleeve
The item will be dispatched in bubble wrap in brown cruciform cardboard
For this record: I reckon that this was a loud and noisy pressing when first issued, so it's not quiet as a starting point. Both lead outs are noisy Side 1 : In addition, there is surface crackle but this does not overpower the music, although there is a stop/start section at the start where you might find it distracting, and the end is noisy Side 2 : In addition, there is some more surface crackle. Does not overpower the music
As a comparison, there was a copy from the USA sold in February (tick Completed Listings) where you can hear the audio. I would have classified this as a collection object or work of art only. My copy is much better than this. I can only say that I find my copy - despite the imperfections - an enjoyable listen
I’m no vinyl expert so I’m not describing the look of the media. The label can be seen in the photos. There are going to be scuffs and scratches. There record is dished/concave in shape but this is regular and does not appear to affect the playing. The centre is knocked out
I’ve done online research and feel that this is a fair price - it is the same price (and I include delivery) as the copy sold from the USA
I aim to send within 3 working days (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays). So for example an item bought over the weekend would normally be sent no later than the end of the following Wednesday
