"Qala Almaani Ya Sala (Khamari)"
a beautiful disc from the old maestro of Bahraini and Khaleeji song and oud, Muhammad Zuwayid (1900-1982).
He first recorded in 1929, then again in Baghdad in 1932 for Baidaphone. He was a student of Mohammad bin Fars, and Dhohi Bin Walid.
Best of old school Bahraini maestros here on this disc, a mint condition Ebrahimphone pressing from the early 60s
He was a master of songs and genres from all over the Gulf, here on this disc he sings a song from the Yemeni village of Khamar in western Yemen.
