Rare 45 rpm movie advertising dj radio spot: MUSIC FROM THE FILM SIDDHARTHA - Sadhus b/w Hemanta; Columbia Pictures, C - Sidd Music; no printed date but the movie was released in 1972. The Wikipedia page says that "All the Indian music was composed and sung by Hemant Kumar, with lyrics to the songs by Gouriprasanna". Also - it looks like they never released a soundtrack lp for this film, which seems crazy since they released STs for pretty much everything. The music is really good - psych-like east Indian music with what must be sitar and tablas and/or other drums and percussion; both tracks have vocals - A-side is more up-tempo, B-side is spacey and more atmospheric. Rare - I can't find any other copies of this 45 anywhere online, past or present.
Condition is VG++ (glossy, with EX A-side that has minimal scuffs and two surface marks in the deadwax, and the B-side has a water stain and several scratches that I can barely feel - it plays EX and VG++ at the scratches, I can hear a few very soft ticks near the end of the track; minimal label rubbing).
