Rare & Fantastic 1959 recordings - Buddy Holly-A-Like Guitar Rockers. There is actually a Holly connection on this record other than the sound as Jerry Allison played drums on this 45 and Jack Smith was a session guitarist on Norman Petty studio recordings at the time. This is a very rare 45 and i'm staggered that neither sides seem to be comp'd on anything. Don't think that this 45 ever made it past this DJ Promo release - This Is A Double In My Collection or It Wouldn't Be For Sale
