45rpm Vinyl THE CONTOURS Do You Love Me/Move, Mr Man Oriole Records 1962 CBA1763
American soul singing group signed to Motown Records. The group is best known for its classic chart-topping 1962 hit, "Do You Love Me," a million-selling single that became a major hit all over again in 1988.

I have graded the vinyl Very Good Plus. I find that working with 45s is very different from LPs, in terms of grading, as back in the day singles were stacked in piles, thrown across the room, shoved into handbags or glove compartments, small and portable for parties. So am test playing them carefully and here there is no crackle or jump or tic although it sounds a little treble compared to the fine-tuned LP that came after. Unlike my collection of long playing records, these show many signs of life, sometimes obvious marks where record has been pile stacked or shifting in and out of it's paper sleeve, which back then had no soft lining, so I am grading on the basis of the way they play and any interruption to play or scratch won't be here for sale.
There is a new paper sleeve with a soft lining and an outer thick plastic cover. I have also created a photographic frontispiece for easy identification when housed within a collection but must make it clear that THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL COVER FOR THE RECORD.

It is a lightweight packet and so hopefully won't exceed that amount and if less, then I will adjust postage.
