Description

Up for Auction is a "FOUR TOPS" , 4TOPS ON BROADWAY Original Album Autographed by 3 Members, Levi Stubbs, Abdul "DUKE" Fakir and Renaldo "OBIE" Benson. The Original 1967 album Cover is in Near Mint Condition. The Vinyl is in very good condition, but the value here is definitely in The Mint Cover Containing The 3 members signature. The Album MOWTOWN M-657, H-1447-3, TR4M-9531.(Please view pictures for details).

    Until June 20th, 1997, The 4 Tops were the longest lived group in Rock History without a personnel change, 41 YEARS 1956-1997. In October of 1998 a little more than a year after band member Lawrence Payton passed away I had the privilege of spending time with the remaining 3 members. They were performing a concert at the Four Seasons in Newport Beach for a Pharmaceutical company. I was there driver while they were in town.

Abdul "DUKE" Fakir is the soul surviving member of the World Renowned Group. a little known fact is The "DUKE" and I share the same Birthday, December 26.wow.

When I asked "DUKE" to sign my album he just stared at it. When I asked "what you don't recognize yourself ?", He stated "of course I know, I just haven't seen this album in a very long time". He admired the condition and upon signing his name he also inscribed "GOD BLESS" above his picture. This Album would look Awesome in a frame !!! Please view all 8 pictures.
