Many hairlines, a few scuffs and scratches but it plays very well throughout with no sticks or jumps but with some crackling in quieter sections. Fairly clean labels. Has some spindle marks but minimal spindle wear. Some signs of age wear. No writing, label marks, label scratches etc.

Sleeve Condition:   VERY GOOD+

Original Parlophone  'Advertising' sleeve, some minor wear, top edges. are Very Good+.    No splits or rips, no edge wear or corner wear. Some creases, minor ageing, no sellotape or writing.

Has a few minor hairlines and virtually no scuffs / scratches and it plays extremely well. Has virtually no background crackling and no sticks or jumps. Labels are very clean. No writing. Minimal centre hole wear. Has very few spindle marks. (FINAL UPGRADE!!)

Sleeve Condition:  VERY GOOD+

Correct Parlophone sleeve has no damage, but has age wear and wear to the top edges, a lot of creasing. No stains. No writing or sellotape. A very slightly frayed top edge.

Correct Parlophone sleeve has no major damage, but has age wear and wear to the centre and top edges, a lot of creasing. Ageing stains. No writing or sellotape. A couple of tiny tears around the die-cut centre and frayed top edge. Sellotape on the inside repairing a tears at top of the die cut centre (front and rear)

Grading System:  I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

I grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (see above). However, if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please email me ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.

RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System

MINT:   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  (NOTE: As far as I am concerned, MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).

EXCELLENT:   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:   The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Post & Packaging - I recycle all packaging so you will get your goods in recycled packaging / cardboard container. All items over £20 are insured and sent 'Signed For' or ‘Tracked 48’ and I always obtain a 'Certificate of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners.
