Description

The 5” Berliner discs are literally the first commercially produced disc records. They’re thin, made of hard rubber and play at nearly 100rpm. They’re also virtually impossible to find and are highly sought after by the top collectors of early records. The reproductions that I produce are the your best opportunity to own one, to use for display and to demonstrate on original equipment.


This is a truly unique piece of history, and you will likely never find a copy of this disc other than those I'm listing. This disc is a repressing, made from a rare original in Excellent condition. The fidelity of this recording is one of the better 5” Berliners. It is made of a material which feels and plays like gutta percha.
