Five Japanese 78 rpm records in red case with handle and silver-tone intricate clasps. These came home from Japan after the Korean War. The records do have numbers pressed into them. Some of the records have paper information (little brochures) with them. I will say which ones have them in the individual listings below: 1. King Record, Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan. "Tennessee Waltz" and "Come on-a My House," sung by Chiemi Eri. Has original brochure with it; C-791. It has the lyrics in English and Japanese. On label: Come on-a My House, Chiemi Eri, C-791, 8555. On other side: Tennessee Waltz, Chiemi Eri, C-791, 8556. 2. Victor Co. of Japan, Ltd., Yokohama. My father wrote "Japanese Lullaby" on paper sleeve but I do not know if that is correct; V-40256 (P-1452) on one side. Other side he wrote "Kankanmusume," V-40256 (P-1453). 3. Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd., Kawasaki, Japan. Has paper brochure A1079, 4/1-4; all in Japanese. A-1079, 2211947 on one side. Other side A-1079, 1211944. 4. Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd., Kawasaki, Japan. Has two-sided paper brochure A93 in Japanese. In King Record sleeve. "China Night,"A 93, 2204519 on one side. On other side "Hill of Pure Heart," A 93, 1205998. 5. Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd., Kawasaki, Japan. In King Record sleeve. "My dear little box," A 339, 2210170 on one side. On other side: "Tokyo Boogie Woogie," A339, 1210152.
I am no expert at grading these, seem to be in good shape. You can see the condition of the covers in the photos.
