50's JAZZ: BEVERLY KENNY- Sings for Playboys: Decca DL 8743 PROMO Ed. from 1958

Offered is an original 1958 promo copy of  Beverly Kenny Sings for Playboys,  pairing the classic jazz vocals of Beverly Kenny with the superb talents of Ellis Larkin on piano. Very few copies of the Promo have ever come to market, making this a rare opportunity:

THE VINYL :  VG+ :  The LP surfaces retain much of their original gloss, with moderate spindlewear evident on the labels.  The record is made of thicker vinyl, with flat edges. Present on both sides are a number of light marks, and some portions play with light background noise (more so for the first few seconds on the first track of each side). There are very few "clicks", and no deep marks.

All tracks play through with no skipping or sticking,  and the mono audio quality is quite good.


THE COVER :  Also VG+ :  Generally well stored, with a few light wrinkles / the heavier cardboard stock shows minor scuffs, but no ringwear / all of the seams, including the spine,  are intact with some edgewear and cornerwear / the white background color on the back cover is showing some age-related yellowing, and there is a stain, likely from water contact, in the top portion (please see photo) / no writing, other stains, paper loss, paper tears, or dirt.

Good front cover color, and as the image makes clear,  Miss Beverly and Mr. Bunny are making eye contact.

Included is the original Decca paper inner sleeve that has a few wrinkles but otherwise is in great condition (please see photos).

We have placed both the cover and the LP into protective plastic sleeves.
