This is an ultra-rare 1959 vintage vinyl stereo self-titled LP by the Rockabilly legend Ronnie Hawkins---Roulette (SR 25078). This is the black first pressing with the White Roulette label with the spokes. This amazing debut album by the then 22 year-old Ronnie Hawkins features twelve (12) great tracks with driving relentless rhythm. Ronnie is supported on the LP by his group, The Hawks, which featured Will  "Pop" Jones on piano, Levon Helms on drums and Jimmie Ray Paulman on guitar.
CONDITION of VINYL: This super clean and shiny vinyl shows only the slightest signs of past play or handling (light spindle marks on Side A). A full test play of both sides produced an awesome sound throughout. We rate the condtion of this first pressing vinyl as Near Mint (NM). A new white generic inner sleeve is included.
CONDITION of JACKET: The outer jacket has a small "punch-hole" through it indicative that the original retail sale was likely as a close-out. The top and bottom seams have some edge wear and chipped-out spots mostly at the left corner areas (No splits). The side seam (spine) is very solid with no cracking or chipping and is fully legible except last two digits of catalogue number are partially worn-off. This jacket's front cover will be a good candidate to frame if one is so inclined. The back cover has some general fading and soiling and a partially erased-out prior owner's name in ink along the lower edge where the record is inserted. We rate the condition of the outer jacket only as Very Good (VG) due to the issues described. A new poly slip-on outer sleeve is included to help preserve this 59 year-old LP for many years to come.

The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from outer jacket. A heavy duty LP record mailer will be used with inserts and ample bubble wrap. Never a packing charge.
