ARTIST: Peggy Lee (born Norma Deloris Egstrom; May 26, 1920 – January 21, 2002) was an American jazz and popular music singer, songwriter, composer and actress, in a career spanning six decades. From her beginning as a vocalist on local radio to singing with Benny Goodman's big band, she forged a sophisticated persona, evolving into a multi-faceted artist and performer. She wrote music for films, acted, and created conceptual record albums—encompassing poetry, jazz, chamber pop, and art songs.CONDITION: SHELLAC: all used. Cleaned from dust, but if cleaned better should produce cleaner sound and prevent skips.
SOUND: I played each record. They all play solid, background noise is present! Orchestra dominates the sound if recorded louder, but quiet parts have some shhh and tick sounds heard! OVERALL SOLID PLAY for 78 rpm standards - G++
COVER JACKET: Original old 3 Capitol Records sleeves called recordvelope. 2 generic worn out.
SHELLAC TENDS TO BREAK VERY EASILY! Always take in with 2 hands when placing it!
