These albums by Blue Mitchell are a deal for the serious jazz collector.  There are 6 albums in this auction, produced from 1966 to 1977. 

These albums are from an extensive collection of early jazz albums that I will be selling for a Vermont client, so look back often to take advantage of a wonderful collection. 

I take a lot of pictures as they tend to show the condition better than I can describe them.  Be sure and check out the pictures and ask for more if there is something specific you want to see. 

1.    BLUE MITCHELL - BRING IT HOME TO ME - 1966 BLUE NOTE BST 84228 

Features:

RECORD - graded Very Good - STEREO
has few light scratches that don't effect your listening pleasure.  

labels are both in great shape with light wear around spindle hole (see pictures) labels are Blue Note labels with the NEW YORK USA address for Blue Note Records INC.  Has 43 West 61st St, New York 23 address on back cover 

The runout areas (deadwax) have the correct markings:

COVER - graded Very Good 

Has original shrinkwrap with 3" x 1" piece missing along front spine and a small 1/4" circle missing to the bottom right of STEREO on top of front cover - no writing or price sticker on the cover - all seams and spine intact - top left corner of cover has been stapled? all the way through the back cover (it appears there were four staples that were removed) - opening edge has some chipping (see pictures) - some bumping on corners (see pictures)

RECORD ONLY- graded Very Good - STEREO

NO COVER 

These albums play with no distortion, skipping or other major audible defects (except for album 5) light surface noise (dust/static) but never anything that interferes with the music quality.

CLEANING

I do a cautionary cleaning only, some light brushing with an approved audio carbon fiber brush and minimal use of audio cleaning solution if warranted. I do not professionally clean my records, I leave that up to the new owners.

GRADING

I utilize the industry standard for grading, Goldmine's, and I tend to grade conservatively.


PACKING
All records are shipped outside their covers, in new sleeves, packed between 2 sturdy corrugated cardboard flats and mailed in an approved record mailer.
