Description
On auction is a job lot of 6 DEMONSTRATION RECORDS all released on the DERAM label. All are in DERAM label company sleeves.
The demos are –
- WARM SOUNDS - THE BIRDS AND THE BEES c/w DOO DAH. DERAM DM 120 released in 1967. The vinyl is visually in nice EX- condition and it plays well.
- THE NAKED TRUTH - TWO LITTLE ROOMS c/w RAG DOLL GIRL. DERAM DM 287 released in 1970. The vinyl is visually in nice EX- condition. The disc plays very well. The label has RECORD LIBRARY RADIO LEEDS stamped on the A side.
- HAFFEY'S WHISKY SOUR - SHOT IN THE HEAD c/w BYE BYE BLUEBIRD. DERAM DM 345 released in 1971. The vinyl is visually in EX condition and it plays well.
- THE WEB with JOHN L WATSON - BABY WON'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE c/w McVERNON STREET. DERAM DM 217 released in 1968. The vinyl is visually in VG condition and it plays well.
- THE SYN - FLOWERMAN c/w 14 HOUR TECHNICOLOUR DREAM. DERAM DM 145 released in 1967. The vinyl is visually only in G+ condition with several surface marks on each side and one scratch at the start of Flowerman which causes some clicks to sound when played. Despite the marks on the disc the record generally plays well with no skips and no jumps and only having the blemish of the clicks sounding at the start of Flowerman. This is a hard to get demo and was the only demo of The Syn that I ever came across. PLEASE do not bid for this if you are after an EX or VG copy of this rare demo.
- RAYMONDE's MAGIC ORGAN - CRY c/w TENNESSEE WALTZ. DERAM DM 240 released in 1969. The vinyl is visually in lovely EX condition and it plays well. This 45 is in a reproduction DERAM label sleeve: all the other 5 demos are in original DERAM label sleeves.

The record will be well packed – using 45 mailers and cardboard stiffeners - to ensure that the disc is fully protected.
