This is a weird one!! Here you have 6 LPs from the Avant Garde series of Deutsche Grammophon, coming inside the box Volume 1, BUT contain instead 4 LPs from the original Volume 1, plus 2 LPs from the Volume 2 of Avant-Garde, which are the Koenig and Nuova Consonanza ones!! Given the fact of the rarity of the Nuova Consonanza album, i doubt you'll have a problem with a mix!! The music ranges from pure electronic experimental in the case of the Koenig LP to freaked out improvisation with Nuova Consonanza, weird ancient instruments on Kagel to avant garde...a must have box!! Cover of the albums are mint-, while the vinyls are also in great mint condition, not needed to tell you how hard is to find these pressings in this great condition. Box shows some medium wear and is a little bit "dirty" on the spines. Might appeal to fans of Pierre Henry, musique concrete, Eimert, Riedl, Parmegiani, Stockhausen, Xenakis, Richard Maxfield, Tod Dockstader, Luc Ferrari, Lejeune, Christian Clozier, Logothetis, Jani Christou, Broken Flag, Whitehouse, Sutcliffe Jugend, Maurizio Bianchi, Toniutti, Nurse with wound, Asmus Tietchens, Zoviet France, Hafler Trio, John Duncan, Leif Ellgrenn, Hausswolff, Merzbow, New Blockaders, Daniel Menche, Mnortham, Nocturnal Emmissions, Organum, AMM, HNAS, Coil, Mirror, Andrew Chalk, Christopher Heemann and similar!
