TEA TWO MILKY
PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT MY OTHER ITEMS FOR MORE GREAT CLASSICAL!
I will be listing more quality orchestral and chamber lps starting on the 26/3/15 and hopefully some great classical cds on 2/4/15, so please keep checking back, THANKS A LOT!
Here is a small lot of Stereo Demonstration and Stereo Test records all from the very late 1950's to the very early 1960's. All on good labels, i haven't seen any of these before, so i would presume they are very hard to find. These came from a small collection of someone who used to work for Philips in the 1950's and 1960's. They are all in great condition having seen very little play. If you are interested in these type of records please see my other listings as i have another small job lot from the same collection. ALL 3 OF THE DECCA RELEASES IN THIS LOT ARE FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE COPIES, I'M NOT SURE THESE WERE EVER FULLY RELEASED
RECORDS: 1. DECCA 7" STO 100a not for sale sample copy. Setting Up Instructions for Decca Stereogram Speakers. record EX+, labels NM, flipback sleeve VG++
2. DECCA UNKNOWN SAMPLE RECORD 12 bands, not for sale factory sample, matrix numbers EXP-BS-669-1W/670-1W, record NM, labels NM, inner sleeve only
3. DECCA UNKNOWN SAMPLE RECORD, grooved label, 16 bands, not for sale factory sample, matrix numbers EXP-BS-405-3F/4F, record NM, labels NM, inner sleeve only
4. DG 99 009KA Untitled Test Signals Record (German Alle Hersteller Tulip labels), record EX, labels NM, sleeve VG- (general wear, splits down the gatefold)
5. AUDIO FIDELITY AFSD 5890 Demonstration and Sound Effects Record, record EX, labels NM, gatefold sleeve EX++ (UK copy)
6. AUDIO FIDELITY FCS 50000 Stereo Test Record (signals and classical samples) record NM, labels NM, gatefold sleeve NM (UK copy)
COMMENTS: Very nice set of unusual releases on some great labels. I've tried to do a little research into the two Decca 12" lp releases and i can't find any information about these at all, it's a possibility that these records may not have seen a general release. I know of some Decca stereo test / sample records such as SXL 6177, SXL 6237 and SXL 6362, but these records for sale here have similar matrix numbers but are not these actual records.
Please note the postage on these records is quite high as the two Audio Fidelity records are very heavy indeed (very thick cardboard gatefold sleeves and heavy records)
***PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT CLEAN ANY CLASSICAL RECORDS. I DO NOT HAVE A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING MACHINE AND DO NOT WANT TO CLEAN THESE RECORDS WITH A CLOTH FOR FEAR OF MARKING THE SURFACE OF THE RECORD. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT ALL RECORDS SHOULD BE PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED PRIOR TO PLAYING TO ENSURE THE HIGHEST QUALITY AUDIO PLAY BACK, THANKS****.
***ALL RECORDS HAVE BEEN VISUALLY GRADED. IF THERE ARE ANY LIGHT MARKS THESE HAVE BEEN PLAY GRADED TO CHECK FOR SOUND QUALITY***

As of the 4th September 2013 Ebay has decided it will take a 10% cut of all post and packaging costs!!!!! ..... this will affect both domestic and international postage rates, sorry, but this is beyond my control. I do not make a profit on postage. here is an example of how i work out my postage: to post a record to the UK royal mail 2nd class is £2.60, record mailers and cardboard stiffeners around 90p, which total £3.50. i now need to receive £3.90 (Ebay now take 10% of this is £3.90 which is 39p, £3.90 -39p = £3.51 which is what i need to receive for the cost of the postage). I understand this makes postage more expensive, but i can't do anything about it. If some business sellers can post records for cheaper than this they are doing so at a loss, i unfortunately cannot do this, hopefully this is understandable, thanks.
