Description

BEFORE BIDDING PLEASE READ POINTS 1 - 7 THAT ARE BELOW THE ITEM'S DESCRIPTION.

"THE WELL-TEMPERED CLAVIER" - Bach - Books I & II 48 Preludes & Fugues. Rosalyn Tureck (Piano). Issued in 1958 in the Brunswick label Cat No. AXTL1036-1041.

Covers are all flipback and laminated. They are in the Very Good/Very Good Plus condition range. They have some cellotape at bottom corners which appears to have been used to retain a filing code. AXTL1039 has some cellotape across the middle of the rear - for no apparent reason. The edges and corners are overall very tidy, none appear to be split. Opening edges appear to be free from tears. 4 sleeve have retailer stickers on reverse. None have writing. There is some discolouration to some - especially the flipback itself.

The vinyl comes with nice tidy labels. Condition ranges from Very Good to Excellent. Very Good meaning a few light marks but plays very well, with just a dust click or two - and Near Excellent being virtually unmarked and plays fine.

Gradings as per disc below:-

  • AXTL 1036 - Very Good - does have a prominent looking non-sounding mark.
  • AXTL 1037 - Near Excellent
  • AXTL 1038 - Near Excellent
  • AXTL 1039 - Near Excellent
  • AXTL 1040 - Very Good - would be Excellent but it does have a small scratch which clicks for handful of revolutions
  • AXTL 1041 - Very Good Plus - has a non-sounding mark

All records and CDs are thoroughly played to assess condition in addition to a visual inspection.

1. Description of Item

I attempt to be as honest and as thorough as possible with the item's description and offer a no fuss refund guarantee if dissatisfied. If I have made a mistake or if you are unhappy in any way with what you received please give me the chance first to resolve any problems.

2. Payment

UK buyers can pay by paypal, postal orders, or cheque.

Overseas buyers to pay by paypal only. I do NOT do Bank Transfer.

3. Postage and Packing Costs

Lots can be combined to save on postage costs.

The cost of postage and packing is not hidden so please check this out before bidding. The postage costs I quote are based upon the actual cost to me (which can be verified on the Royal Mail website) plus a small fee to account for materials. Materials are items such as jiffy bags, bubble wrap, special mailing envelopes, PVC sleeves, cardboard stiffeners - all of which I pay for. I do re-use and recycle materials where I can to keep down overall costs but it is never my intention to profit from excessive postage costs. Mistakes happen and if you feel you have been overcharged compare what you paid with that printed on the Royal Mail label. Although no-one has ever complained about being undercharged!

4. Overseas Buyers

I am aware that the costs of postage to International (Overseas) buyers has greatly increased and as such I am happy to send items by Surface Mail - this is a lot cheaper but can be very slow.

5. Dispatch Time

Please bear in mind that once I post the item I have no control of the speed of its delivery. I will inform you when an item has been posted and the date of this can also be found on the Royal Mail postal label on the outside of the parcel. Therefore when leaving a 'score' for dispatch time please base this on the date of posting and not the date of arrival otherwise I am being scored for the postal service's efficiency and not my own!

6. Non-payment

If you win an item and fail to pay within a calendar month I reserve to re-list the item.

If you win an item and change your mind I am happy to cancel the transaction.

If you fail to pay and fail to cancel a transaction I will undertake a Non-Paying Bidder process with ebay.

7. Conclusion

I take the leaving of positive feedback as the completion of the transaction.

Many thanks for looking.
