Description
The outside of the heavy paper 6 3/4" x 7 3/4" record holder says Kiddie Record Album, Number Two and inside the album are 6 children's records with a nursery rhyme theme. All 6 of the records have the same front drawing-2 little girls listening to a record, under them is the title of the song on the record and the name of the singing artist. The records are numbered from 201 to 206 and all have a date of 1923. Turn the records over and there is a color drawing by C. M. Burd of children at play and having a theme in line with the record title. The Burd drawing covers the entire 6" of the back of the record. Look up Burd on ebay and you will find over 250 listings for him-mostly children's drawings. Since the record is from 1923, I assume it is 78 RPM (it does not say its speed on the records). They are recorded on one side and a picture on the back. Here are the records:

Records were made by Kiddie Record Co., Inc., Plainfield, NJ. Records are untested but all appear to be in outstanding to very good condition. The album front and back covers are in wonderful condition and the interior paper holders are fine, except one that has a tear at the top (shown in my last photo). Only records like this on ebay. The drawings by Burd are real works of art. Will be mailed Media mail, with insurance.
