Description

This is a rare original 1960 Mono ("Deep groove") stock copy pressing of LEE MORGAN, "Leeway" LP, 1960, Blue Note Records, BLP-4034 [M], ("Deep groove" version [ pictured ]; W. 63rd St. address on label). Vinyl includes RVG stamp and "Ear" mark in trail-off dead wax. Thick original 180g weight. Much of original shiny gloss still intact. A few light superficial surface scratches appear on each side, but nothing major. Audio play is the clean and crisp "High Fidelity" sound you might expect from a record of this vintage with little if no surface noise at all. Absolutely no skips. I would rate the overall vinyl condition a solid VG+. The cover is in very good order. No ring wear. One approximately 5 1/2 inch split seam on lower bottom torward the opening of the jacket. Blue Note address is listed on bottom of the back cover as BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23. I would rate the overall cover condition VG+.
