Description
This auction is for an estimated 6000 7”singles ranging in condition from Fair to Excellent, some need a quick clean and some are excellent but none I have looked at are unplayable or very badly scratched. In fact I would say the majority are in Good to Very Good Condition. They are an ex DJs collection who I was informed had them stored for around 12 years. Included in this collection is all the big names from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hendrix, The Who as well as a lot of 60s and 70s pop, rock, soul, motown, reggae and a lot of Demos and promo copies. I am sure there will be some real gems in amongst them, I bought the collection with the intention of going through and cataloguing them but have not had the time and have little knowledge on the subject. I have probably looked at around 10% of them. The majority of the records are in plain sleeves but there are also company and picture sleeves and some coloured and picture discs.
I CANNOT POST THESE RECORDS SO THE WINNING BIDDER MUST EITHER COLLECT FROM NEWCASTLE AREA OR DO AS I DID AND HAVE THEM SENT BY PALLETEX (cost £89) I will ensure that they are very well packaged if you want them sent by haulage.
