Apollos--Target Love / It's A Monster--Apollo 0011. Excellent 60s garage two-sider. Both sides have appeared on various compilations. Vinyl is EX+ with high gloss. Labels are like new. Disc has a very slight storage warp that does not affect play. This copy is about as nice as this particular title comes. It's only been played a handful of times by myself and I've been the sole owner. Some may know the scoop on this title, others may not, so I'll just mention the quality of the pressing. In short, both the quality of the vinyl used and the overall pressing itself are lousy. In 40+ years of collecting, I've never seen a legitimate Mint - copy. I even had small quantity of new store stock during the early 70s and they all had the same problem. This was also true of copies I had obtained from other sources through the years. The records appear to have very faint, scattered needle drags. Usually, you can discern them with the naked eye; they're very evident with a magnifying glass. Also, they're more prominent on the A-side. Upon playback, you'll hear a "whooshing" sound in spots. Pressings vary and some copies are worse than others, but as far as I know, they all have the defect to some extent. If you have a copy and can't hear the sound I've referenced, try a pair of headphones. Trust me, the noise will be there, lurking in the grooves somewhere. This is my last copy. I kept it because it was the best sounding one that I had owned. I wanted to make sure that the winning bidder was informed about the quality. Soundclips will be included.
