Description
In an effort to cut down on spiralling eBay costs, all my auctions from now on will start at 99p.
I've made the decision to sell some of my very large collection of 7"/12"/LPs.
I haven't the equipment to provide my own sound clips, so will have to rely on your own good judgement - after all, soul lovers are the world's most knowledgeable and devoted collectors.
ALL THE ITEMS I AM SELLING COME FROM OVER THIRTY YEARS OF COLLECTING.
I AM NOT A DEALER.
There will be some real gems, so make sure you keep your eyes open.

Labels condition: Spotless
This little beauty is as good as it gets. It has been described as "terrific femme Northern Soul" (by someone who should know), and has plenty of scope to become a Noughties biggie. It's set somewhere just above mid-tempo, with a delightful, choppy rhythm, and possesses an exceedingly optimistic theme, which ends up with wedding bells.
This release is another one that's been missed by Bob McGrath from his latest edition of "The R&B Indies". It should have been placed in Volume 2, but there's no mention of this particular Jaguar label, which was distributed by Vanguard Productions. Both sides were written, arranged and conducted by Tony Luis, and were also released on the Fran-Ette label. Both varieties command a £50 price tag in Manship's often-quoted guide, which makes it a bit difficult to tell which came first. However, Manship also lists a much scarcer alternative Jaguar release, with a different mix, and a plain label, but using the same number. I've not seen or heard this version, but it would seem to indicate that this particular variation came first, followed by the different mix on a different Jaguar label design (which Manship describes as an "updated 2:14 version"), and then the Fran-Ette release. All this is the pure speculation.
The vinyl is totally unmarked, and both sides play very close to mint. The labels are both spotless, and the edges are completely chip-free.
This record has been played on both sides to verify condition, but there's a full money-back guarantee on all my sales, and I'll refund anyone who isn't totally captivated.
