1960s era LP from The ORIGIN Jazz Library, Brooklyn Heights, NY... Thanks on back to John Fahey for the Charlie Patton Bio... Turned up at Clarksdale, Mississippi! Interesting Liner notes, regarding this fledgling record label, and stating their aims as Collectors and Blues Aficionados... First issue of this Series! Numbers from old 78s by Charlie Patton (And the Country Blues!) are: "HIGH SHERIFF BLUES, GREEN RIVER BLUES, ELDER GREEN BLUES, MOON GOING DOWN, GOING TO MOVE TO ALABAMA, I SHALL NOT BE MOVED, STONE PONEY BLUES, FRANKIE AND ALBERT, RUNNIN' WILD BLUES, SOME THESE DAYS I'LL BE GONE, I'M GOIN; HOME, POOR ME"... With Henry Sims on fiddle on some cuts... Condition of the jacket; VG, some splits and tape at edges, overall clean. Condition of the vinyl; VG+ or VG++, light scuffs, light wear, overall clean/ glossy, small pen owner's initials on labels...
