THE ALBUM WAS CALLED JUBILEE AND WAS ISSUED IN 1987 ON MCA RECORDS
THIS RARE ACETATE WILL MAKE FOR A GREAT LISTENING EXPERIENCE. BUT YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO PLAY THIS. BUY THE LP OR CD AND JUST TREASURE THIS IN YOUR COLLECTION. YOU WILL NEVER SEE ANYONE ELSE WITH IT.
IT WAS PRESSED BY MASTERFONICS NASHVILLE FOR THE MCA RECORDS LABEL AND WAS SUBSEQUENTLY RELEASED ON CD AND LP
IT COMES ON TWO ONE SIDED ACETATE DISCS, THE BACK SIDE OF BOTH IS BLACK. I TRIED TO TAKE A PICTURE OF IT TO POST BUT IT REFLECTED SO MUCH LIGHT I COULD NOT MAKE IT COME OUT WELL ENOUGH BUT HERE IT IS JUST FOR FUN.
I HAVE RESEARCHED AND CANNOT FIND ANY COMPARABLE OFFERING ON ANY SITE INCLUDING DISCOGS.
THE HISTORICAL VALUE OF THIS TEST PRESSING IS INCALCULABLE.

Acetates were usually made by dubbing from a master recording in another medium such as magnetic tape. In the vinyl record manfacturing process, an acetate master disc is cue ad electroforming is used to make negative metal molds from it. Each mold, known as a stamper, can be used to press thousands of vinyl copies of the master.
Acetates were produced in very small quantities using elementary cutting machines. The majority of discs found on the market were not labelled or marked, as distributing studios would only at most have their name and address written on the disc. It was generally up to the recipients to scribble the song title or name of the artist onto the disc by hand
