Blast from the Past!
Top Pop Songs of 1950s and 60's
Rare original flyer showcases this lot of records. Flyer from the Week of February 1, 1964 touts "twist and shout" with the Beatles from Capitol Records. But, the announcement at the bottom of the flyer is truly something to shout about: "See The Beatles On The ED SULLIVAN TV SHOW Sunday, Feb.9, Also Feb.16." The other side of the flyer is from a Radio Station from Montreal, Canada. It has photos of the DJ's, and is titled, "Campus Club Chart - Montreal's Only Authentic Record Survey" Flyer is in excellent condition. Folded in 4th's - but, no rips, tears, etc. With singles like, "Let's Hang On" by The Four Seasons, "You Can't Hurry Love" by The Supremes, and "Penny Lane" by The Beatles, this case of 50 records is bound to be enjoyed by any lover of 1950's and 60's music. Meticulously ordered and labeled, the 45 RPM records in this case were kept in mint condition and are all ready to be played or displayed. Oh, can't forget these 50-year old hits: Brunswick label, "Rock Around The Clock", Bill Haley; Bell Records, "The Letter", The Box Tops; Roulette label, "I'm Going Home", The Choir (well not exactly a hit, but rare); Ode label, "San Francisco", Scott McKenzie; U.S.A. Records, "Kind of a Drag" the Buckinghams and a few on Bang Records like "Cherry, Cherry" by Neil Diamond.
