Description

This is an extremely rare early 1966 Mono stock copy pressing of JEFFERSON AIRPLANE, "Jefferson Airplane Takes Off!" LP, 1966, RCA Victor Records, LPM-3584 [M]. ( This is a Version 2 Copy: No "Runnin' Round This World", but "questionable" lyrics remain in "Let Me In" ( "Don't tell me you want money") and "Run Around" ("That sway as you lay under me"). To the best of my knowledge the exact matrix numbers are unknown so it has been heard to confirm). The original shine and gloss seems somewhat still intact on each side's surface. Some very slight scuffs here and there. Good clean crisp audio quality. No skips. I would rate the overall vinyl condition VG+. The cover seems to be intact. Some frayed edges and slight signs of aging. Spine intact. I would rate the overall cover condition VG+. This is my second and only other rare Version 2 copy of this LP that I have availiable. Some might have seen another previous copy I owned of this LP up for auction a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to find this one in a back room of a record store in Westwood, NJ a couple of years ago. I was thinking of holding on to it for awhile but I have decided to sell it along with the other Jefferson Airplane records I currently have up for sale on this week's auction. Happy bidding. I don't know when you'll come across one like this again.
