We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

RARE to be found CLEAN... 1966 beatrock classic containing the massive hit 'Black Is Black' which some 42+ years later almost every listener still digs ...
Los Bravos formed in 1966, on the outer cusp of the British Invasion. The group was led by former Mike & the Runaways singer Michael Volker Kogel (born in Berlin, Germany, in 1944). The other four original members -- bassist Miguel Vicens Danus, guitarist Tony Martinez, organist Manuel Fernandez, and drummer Pablo Sanllehi -- had all been working together previously in the Spanish group Los Sonors. Upon coming together to try their hand at cracking the English-speaking European pop market, this new configuration changed their name for a one-off single on Columbia Records' Spanish division before they eventually signed with Decca Records' Spanish division. They were assigned to work with successful British producer Ivor Raymonde (who had already scored numerous U.K. hits with Marty Wilde, Billy Fury, Dave Berry, and others) in England. The result of this union of talent and proven production skills produced the band's first single, the rhythm-driven "Black Is Black," that same year. It shot up the charts to number two in the U.K. and on August 10, 1966, it charted on Billboard and CashBox. Soon the band enjoyed moderate to major success around the world. The Lp that included the massive hit was filled with inspired tracks in the same vein making for one of the great, often unsung Invasion rockers & ravers of the sixties ...here is a 43 year old first pressing never opened and still sealed!!

CONDITION: The cover is solid all the way around "EX" (excellent) less than a touch of shelf wear at most, really stiff and sharp. Tiny corner bump (very small) ...No split seams, no bends, no writing. Great upgrade
