7” EP
ESA PETHMAN –SEXTET:
Al Secco / Finnish Schnapps
Musicians:
Esa Pethman, flute
Reino Veijalainen, flute
Rainer Kuisma, marimba
Heikki Sarmanto, piano
Pentti Tiensuu, bass
Anssi Pethman, drums
Issued on Scandia label SEP 194 in 1963 in Finland.
Please note the titles on this EP are recorded some years earlier than the Esa Pethman’s LP was issued, and are different versions, because the record company is different. Actually the LP was issued on RCA label.
condition
cover VERY GOOD(+) no splits, no tears, only the cover has a brown tape residue on top edge, an original record shop sticker on cover
disc GOOD ? a sticker on label, please note there is a major scratch in the direction of the tracks in the very beginning of “Finnish Schnapps” causing 12 loud clicks during the intro, also sticks there in some cases, depending on which record player you play it, so the intro is not enjoyable, but
THEREAFTER plays o.k., I would say visually vg, decent audio with only some faint background noise
As described, the disc is far from perfect, and is not recommended for mint collectors.
So the "Finnish Schnapps" and "Al Secco" are different versions than on the Esa Pethman LP, that was issued 1965 by RCA. It's a different line-up also there. So this is a much earlier recording.

I use whole the grading scale ! I don't grade scratched records as vg+ !
Methods of payment: I prefer PAYPAL. Ask for others.
Cost of shipping. Actual postage fee only. There is no handling fee.

1 LP to Europe 12 USD (REGISTERED MAIL 14.40 USD, ECONOMY 9.20 USD)
1 LP to outside Europe 19 USD (REGISTERED MAIL 25 USD, ECONOMY 12.70 USD)
2 – 3 LP’s to Europe 16 USD (REGISTERED MAIL 21 USD, ECONOMY 14 USD)
2 – 3 LP’s to outside Europe 32 USD (REGISTERED MAIL 40 USD, ECONOMY 20 USD)
Registered mail strongly recommended, if shipment is valued more than 70 USD.
Please check also the rates of economy mail for LP’s. Registering by economy is not possible, so it's not good for valuable shipments. Only at your risk. The rates are a bit cheaper, but may take some time more to deliver. I have found out, however, it's a pretty convenient method, because the delivery times are not very much longer to USA etc. So it's a higly RECOMMENDED way of delivery to save your money.
