Description
This lot contains three 10-inch 78 RPM records, all on the Pathe or Pathe Freres label. They are all shown in the first picture, then individually, front and back, in the following order:
Pathe # 22347 -- "Rose of Washington Square" and "Oriental Stars" by the Della Robbia Orchestra.
Pathe # 20419 -- "The Elks' March" and "The Cruiser Harvard March" by the American Regimental Band.
Pathe # 20548 -- "In the Gloaming" and "Ben Bolt" by Jules Levy Jr.'s Brass Quartet.
Pathe # 20610 -- "The Night Alarm" and "The Forge in the Forest" by the Empire State Military Band.
Pathe # 22493 -- "With the Coming of Tomorrow" by Robert Bruce; and "Dearest One" by Lewis James and Elliott Shaw.
Pathe # 20354 -- "The Last Long Mile" by Arthur Fields; and "Good-Bye Barney Boy" by the Peerless Quartet.
Pathe # 22351 -- "Through the Woods" and "Amina" by the Garde Republicaine Band of France.
Visually, they are all nice and shiny, with a few scuffs and scratches and dull spots, and they could probably all use a good cleaning, but I don't see anything that would classify as a problem for playback. Unfortunately, though, I don't have the right phonograph to play them on, so they're not play-tested, and sold with no guarantees and strictly "as is." Also included are the six Pathe sleeves shown in the pictures, but they are creased, chipped and torn, and do not add to the overall value.
