Up for grabs is the original 1st pressing of the 7 Seconds  Committed For Life EP.
Released on Squirtdown Records in 1983, this is the second vinyl release from the Reno Nevada band.  This pressing comes with a double sided insert, one side with lyrics, the other with pictures.  7 Seconds are believed to be the first band to refer to themselves as 'hardcore', thereby coining the phrase for an entire movement. A great single from a great band.

Condition (I used the Goldmine Standard and try to grade conservatively): Vinyl: VG+ Cover: VG+ Insert: NM-
Visibly, the vinyl is very clean suffering from very light surface scratches on both sides, which are only visible under bright light. These scratches are in 'Bottomless Pit' and 'Aggro', but these do not affect the audio. There is very little surface noise, and what there is generally heard during the breaks between songs occasionally in the music. This, however, by no means overpowers the music. There are a couple of moderate audible pops, but I suspect these quite likely will come good with a thorough cleaning. The cover is in very good shape as can be seen in the pictures. There is light ring wear on both the back and the front and there is some creasing in the corners, mainly from the plastic sleeve which this was stored in for the last 29 years. There is very slight fraying on the back cover in the opening. Finally there is a slight indentation (about the size of a pinhead) above the E in 'Seconds' on the front cover. There is absolutely no discoloration on the cover. The insert is very clean with only a slight crease and very small dogear on the upper left of the lyrics side. In all this is a very good copy of a 29 year old single.
