TONY SHERIDAN & THE BEAT BROTHERS 45

on Orange Polydor.
German issue of 'My Bonnie' recorded in 1961. Not sure what year this
re-issue was made but it's thinner than the original. Sheridan sings the
intro in German, after that it's the same as the British version. But . . .
Now, both labels state 'M' for Mono yet the recordings are most definitely
genuine Stereo - i.e. not re-processed (as it was stated to be on "The
Early Years" album) - Sheridan sings in the left channel (with hardly any
audible backing) and the instruments are all on the right. The few little
shouts that Paul made in the guitar break sound as though they were
picked up off-mike, and are also in the right-hand channel. It's a piece
of history all right!
Question is, did they record it in German first, then in English?!!!
Condition : Disc and sleeve - Excellent. Disc looks and plays Excellent.
Sleeve looks as new. Will be well packaged for full protection in the post.
Will also be sent 'Signed For' at no extra cost to the buyer.
