VERY RARE 7" VINYL SINGLE ( First Pressing) 1980
STEVIE SHARP & THE CLEAN CUTS A Side: We are the Mods B Side: He want's to be a Mod MM122 Happy Face Records  Recorded at the Old Smithy , Kempsey , Worcester
I'm going to be honest with you, i was into the revival Mod stuff back in the day and this is one i'd never heard of before. I believe there were only 300-500 pressings of this record. Apparently the single 'We are the Mods' also features on the compilation LP of the same name. Research shows the band came from Worcester & surrounding areas, with Stevie Sharp being the EX guitarist with Satan's Rats & The Rowdies.
I'm selling this record on a friends behalf, unfortunately i'm NOT a record dealer or collector so i don't know how to grade this to a collectors standard. All i can do is be as honest with my description as possible. I'll start with the white paper label, it looks to be clean enough on both sides with no visible damage  There are very faint spindle marks to the label around the centre hole. The record itself is quite clean but it does have numerous visible marks & light scratches. NONE of the scratches are deep enough that they can be felt with your finger nail, i have checked them with a jewellers loop and they only look to be surface scratches. I have played both sides of the record and it seems to play without any issues ( No skipping or major crackling). I have tried to show any marks in the photographs so please study them carefully. I've tried to be as honest with the description as possible but if you need to know anything more about this item feel free to get intouch and i'll do my best to answer your questions.
