From 1972, this is a high-energy, HEAVY ROCK album of thunderous proportions from outlaw-gypsy-Hippie rockers HIGHWAY ROBBERY! It is FOR LOVE OR MONEY ( RCA Records #LSP 4735) in gently-used, very good++ condition, both vinyl and cover. Other than being a floppy dynaflex pressing, the vinyl has no skips, scratches, or noise (except at the very beginning of side 2).
This 3-man band consisted of DON FRANCISCO (DRUMS, LEAD VOCALS); JOHN LIVINGSTON TUNISON IV (BASS VOCALS), AND MICHAEL STEVENS (LEAD GUITAR & VOCALS). Imagine a cross between GRAND FUNK, BLUE CHEER, JAMES GANG, and others of the era, and you have the sound. Great songwriting, long passages of psychedelic bluesrock jamming solos, and balls-out groovy rock abound! This is RARE! Tracks include MYSTERY RIDER; FIFTEEN; ALL I NEED; LAZY WOMAN; BELLS; AIN'T GONNA TAKE NO MORE; I'LL DO IT ALL AGAIN; & PROMOTION MAN.
