Description

Led Zeppelin "III" 1972 U.K. vinyl album Atlantic 2401 002 / K 50002.

Know your pressings! - when WEA took over Atlantic distribution from Polydor in 1972 they continued to use Polydor stampers for pressing on alot of releases (not just LZ), and this is one of them; this has two sets of matrix numbers: 2401 002 A5 / B6 and K 50002 A / B. It also has the "Do what thou wilt" message on the side one run out. Polydor gatefold rotating cover with WEA distribution re-numbering sticker on the back.

The record is mint / as new. This came to me from a music industry person who had been hoarding stuff for years, there's just one light pin / spindle mark - quite possibly only played once or twice.


The laminated gatefold cover has a couple of very light spine creases and very minor shelf wear when held to the light; there is a tiny wrinkle in the laminate on the back, but it's hardly noticeable and overall the cover is still in excellent condition.
