70s ROCK VINYL: JANIS JOPLIN " JOPLIN IN CONCERT " Columbia (C2X 31160) 2 LP WOW

This is the 1972 Columbia Records 2 LP release on " Joplin in Concert " (C2X 31160). I captures the LIVE performances recorded in 1968 and 1970 by the incredible artist. Fourteen (14) tracks in total with eight (8) with Big Brother & The Holding Company and six (6) with the Full Tilt Boogie Band. 
The inner gatefold has a classic oversize photo of Janice and features liner notes by then Columbia Records President, Clive Davis. These liner notes of Mr. Davis state, in part, the following after first seeing Janice for the first time in the summer of 1967 at the Monterey Pop Festival: 
" Seeing her for the first time was an experience I will never forget. She tore at your insides and tingled every nerve. Her raw power and electricity was awesome. From Monterey Janis went on to become a world-wide phenomenon ".
CONDITION of the VINYLS: Each vinyl appears to have had little or no past play and produce a great listening experience. We rat each vinyl as a solid Near Mint (NM). Included are the original generic inner sleeves.
CONDITION of the JACKET: The outer gatefold jacket is in way above average condition. It is noted that there is bent corner at bottom left that continues through through to the back cover (may not show in photos). When gatefold is opened the bend can be noted as well and there is a small light stain within the bend possibly from moisture or coffee (see gatefold inner photo just below Janice's right elbow). We also note some light softening of corners and some very minor wear on outer red side seam (No Splits). We rate the jacket overall condition as Excellent (EX). A new poly slip-on outer sleeve is included to help preserve this 46 year-old gem for future generations to enjoy. 

The vinyls within the inner sleeves will be separated from jacket during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket.
