We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over (+) 20,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - The preferred British (DECCA) issue over the French "Kingdom" release.
- The very first PULSAR, one of the *best* when talking early '70s Pink Floyd styled atmospherics with sonic-psych layers and blends. Majestic atmospherics, Hammond/Mellotron keyboard sound backdrops, voice effects & acid-distortion guitar leads form & shape the highly creative tracks, mostly in long form.
Very much Floydian spacey Mellotron-backdrops atmospheric album creation by the awesome PULSAR.
- "Pollen" features a mixture of symphonic influences, a long-lost and dreamy space-rock format.
- Pulsar's slow-burning first LP would mark one of the few European progressive rock group's not to borrow from their own country's musical heritage, instead brewing up a distinctly British-style sound strongly reflected to the mid- seventies Pink Floyd frame-work.
"Pulsar" ~ of the most accomplished prog acts to ever come out of France.
- POLLEN, takes the greatest parts of '70's Pink Floyd,
- in resemblance.
- PULSAR's main motifs and musical arrangements are to a higher degree of finesse than many other progressive bands of the era.

- The lead-off track , titled after the band itself, erupts as an electrifying astral travel turned into rock with pulsating bass and interplay between guitar and synth = so unearthly!
- Following is 'Apaisement', with haunting prog atmospherics gives an introspection unveiling following a majestic vibe, no small degree due to the wise use of those dreamy synth layers floating on and on.
- An extension to the lead vocalist's melancholy.
- A special mention goes to the beautiful whirling flute solo in the end, typical Pulsar at its most pastoral.
- Next comes one of the most complex pieces in the album, 'Puzzle / Omen', which kicks off with a prog fanfare led by powerful guitar lines, so energetic and cosmic. Then comes a 5/4 motif sustained on a complex layer of instrumentation cadence, with highlighted lines on guitar, synth and flute.
- The slower section includes the recited warbly voice effects in omen tone, after which a Floydian dreamy motif enters and displays an aura of languid sophistication right towards the end.
- The album's second half comprises the most mysterious ambiences of the album. It begins with 'Le Cheval de Syllogie', a piece full of dense, somber atmospheres that allow the band explore their spacey vibe far and away further. Things get gradually more intense as the track progresses: the distorted recitation sounds like a robotic wizard.
- The title track closing down this majestic/inventive album is also the longest one, clocking in over 13+ minutes
- Overall and ultimately leaning closer to the album's
- space-prog-psych tone.
A special mention must go to the fluttering flute interventions, captivating beyond words. The final synth sounds, emulating crashing sea waves crashing against rocks during a windy winter night, appropriately echo the song's overall contemplative mood.
"Pollen" is an excellent album, indeed, and one of France's greatest progressive/psych 70's acts ~~ no doubt about it.
