Description
This is an original 1977 vinyl LP album release on the Caribou Records label (CBS) of artist Dennis Wilson entitled ' Pacific Ocean Blue ". This is the only album ever released by Dennis Wilson, who was a co-founder of The Beach Boys. The album includes twelve (12) tracks performed by this extraordinary singer-songwriter (see photo of lyric sleeve for titles and record credits). Consider this LP in its entirely as being in COLLECTOR CONDITION.
CONDITION of VINYL: This STEREO vinyl shows little, if any, signs of past play and produces an exceptional sound throughout based on a full test play. We rate this vinyl as Near Mint (NM) using Goldmine guidelines. The original lyric inner sleeve is included in very nice clean condition with the exception that a 4" untaped slit exists at the bottom center.
CONDITION of JACKET: The outer jacket is the gatefold style with inner gatefold revealing ten (10) photos of Dennis (one being black & white) with the inner seam fully intact. The front cover is also in great shape but on very close inspection it is noted there are 3 very small specs to the lower left of face likely from from original printing of the cover than from past handling (see photo). There is some very light softening at jacket corners. Back cover is very clean with exception of a difficult to see imprint of 3 initials that erased out at bottom center next to "1977 CBS". This awesome gatefold jacket is rated a strong Excellent Plus (EX+) under Goldmine Guidelines. A new poly-slip on outer sleeve is included to help preserve this 40 year-old gem for years of future enjoyment.
The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from jacket during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket.
