Description

This is an original American 78 RPM Single Record by EVELYN THOMPSON from 1926.  The two selections are "Someday Sweetheart" and "I Got A Papa Down In New Orleans, Another Papa Up In Maine".  Label / Number is Vocalion 1075. This Lady is a fine Blues Vocalist, although she's listed as a Comedienne on the label. Her accompanists are unknown Violin, Guitar and Piano players. Evelyn released four 78s on Vocalion. This is the earliest. All were recorded in New York. The Gal knows how to belt the Blues.  Record has some wear, scuffs, scratches and minor surface noise, but plays quite well with fine fidelity.  Labels have wear and scuffing.  Condition is:  Record - V+ to E-  Labels - E-  An Excellent Item.
