On Trombone is Charlie Green and on Piano Porter Grainger and they accompany

Blues legend Bessie Smith and J. C. Johnson who sings a great tune

entitled "Empty Bed Blues Part I "

 

 


On the reverse side, Bessie is accompanied by the same

group, and she does "Empty Bed Blues Part II"


Both sides were recorded in NYC in May of 1928.


The record is in good

condition on both sides.  It is in the original Columbia "New

Process" sleeve.
