Muddy's second record for Chess from 1950 and featuring Little Walter's first appearance on record for the label. Two killer early Chicago blues recordings with Muddy's voice and slide in its prime.
Sad Letter is almost pristine sounding and grades E+. Very little if any background noise is present and the music and vocals are loud, punchy and full sounding. It's simply one of the best sounding sides on 78 I've ever heard. I Need Your Help is around V+ condition and has some background noise but the music and vocals are still well above it and sound rich.
Both labels are super clean.
The record will be expertly packed using the "cardboard sandwich" method and secured in an oversized box with plenty of bubble wrap and/or packing material. Overseas buyers contact me before bidding as I don't ship to all countries. I will also quote you a shipping price (usually around $20).
