Bix Beiderbecke along with the core of Jean Goldkette's jazz men made this session for Columbia dime store release as the Broadway Bell-Hops. While it turns up on Harmony, it seems to be exceedingly rare on Velvet Tone, so for the Bix ultra-completist, here's a chance to grab a copy. Recorded in September 1927, a prime period for Bix, he takes a couple nice solos as does Trumbauer. Graded V+ visually because of general light background mold. Plays like an E copy - strong and clear with quiet background. A couple light tics from two light scratches near end.
