78 RPM CHESS 1615 CHUCK BERRY DOWNBOUND TRAIN NICE EX
Greetings fellow ebayers,
What I am offering up for auction here is a very clean 78 RPM copy of Chuck Berry - The Downbound Train/No Money Down - Chess Records # 1615.
SPECIAL NOTE: I have several other collectible Rock and Roll 78's up for auction including two more rare Chuck Berry's.
I clean each record that I sell and visually and audibly grade them in accordance with Goldmine standards.
This record grades visually as a VG++ because of a few minor scuffs which do not affect play. Record is still very shiny and audibly grades as a solid EX. VERY clean play all the way through with extremely little surface noise and NO tics or pops. I test play every record on my Dual ULM turntable which is fitted with a 2.7 mil 78 RPM stylus. Clean labels with no writing on them except a small pen mark on the "No Money Down" side.
This is probably one of the nicer copies of this record you will find anywhere.
I have been collecting and selling 78 RPM records for over 30 years. I pack and ship very securely.
This is a pretty rare record as I’m sure you know if you are a serious collector.
With all of Chuck Berry’s incredible music, it always saddens me that his ONLY number one hit was “My Ding-a-Ling” in the early ‘70’s. Go Figure!!!!!
