Description
In 1959,a young determined singer named Arnold George Dorsey entered the Decca studios. As Gerry Dorsey,he recorded the two tracks on this lovely 78. In the early 1960s,Gerry recorded some more good tracks but although he was getting the work,that hit record would not come. Then in the mid 1960s when the beat groups took over,many music lovers still wanted the more gentle touch and with another name change to Engelbert Humperdink,the hits started rolling in. This 1959 78 started it all off for this great entertainer and its in wonderful condition. You will be incredibly lucky to find another copy,let alone one in such great shape,so choose this and listen to one of our finest singers in his early days. Dig vintage You know its right.
