78 RPM ENRICO CARUSO VICTOR 85049 BIZET'S CARMEN 1904?

Description

Up for auction is a one sided 1904(?) opera 78 rpm record by Enrico Cruso on Victor 85049.

 

The track is Romance De La Fleur (This Flower You Gave To Me) from Bizet's Carmen. This is sung in Italian.

 

I am listing some records from several 78 rpms hunting trips across the south...from Louisville to Mobile to Tampa...and a few from Pomona's (SoCal) antique district from a while back.

Grading System:

• NM = near new condition
• E = barely played, extremely close to near new condition
• VG = played, but not abused condition, should play very well, may have light scratches, scuffs
• G = well played, but should play pretty well, will have deeper scratches, scuff; may have some background noise, scratches, scuffs, wear
• P = well used, pretty bad condition, lots of background noise

Grades VG with good gloss and sound. Has light marks and scuffs. Has a pin point size needle drop that lightly ticks about 2 times...no tracking problems at all. Label has needle revolution imprints from a runaway victrola needle. 

 

This record will be very securely packaged for shipment. Please let me know if you would like your records insured.

 

I will combine shipping for other 78s I am auctioning at just an additional .50 cents each.
